The Graduate Certificate in Law is a programme of at least 60 points law courses of the student's choice, mainly at undergraduate level. The Certificate is particularly suited to executives and paralegals who wish to learn about particular areas of the law.
Courses are chosen from the 200- to 500-level courses offered in the LLB, LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes. At least 40 points are to be above 200-level. With approval, up to two courses may be taken from other University faculties. The selected programme of study must be approved by the Director of Postgraduate Studies.
The GCertLaw is a one trimester full-time programme.
