Diploma in Information Technology (Level 7)

The aim of the Diploma in Information Technology (Level 7) is to provide a specialist qualification for    people who wish to pursue a career in information technology and to specialise in either IT Support or Multimedia.

The content of the Diploma in Information Technology (Level 7) builds on the content of the Diploma in Information Technology (Level 6) and allows students to specialise in either IT Support or     Multimedia. Course content also enables students to complete international certifications.

Students who successfully complete this qualification will be able to find industry positions in either IT Support or Multimedia related roles or move on to further study.

Diploma in Information Technology (IT Support)
The content of the Diploma in Information Technology (Level 7) builds on the content of the Diploma in Information Technology (Level 6) and allows students to gain more advanced skills in IT Support through the completion of a range of subjects including information systems management, managing network operating systems, designing and implementing networks and through the completion of an industry based internship.
Students who complete this qualification will be work ready for a range of roles in IT Support,  including network administration, computer support and helpdesk support.

Diploma in Information Technology (Multimedia)
The content of the Diploma in Information Technology (Level 7) builds on the content of the     Diploma in Information Technology (Level 6) and allows students to gain more advanced skills in Multimedia through the completion of a range of subjects including visual communication, interactive design, multimedia programming and through the completion of an industry based internship.
Students who complete this qualification will be work ready for a range of roles in Multimedia,including multimedia development, animation, multimedia scripting and multimedia project management.
