Auckland Wise Institute in association with Tai Poutini Polytechnic offers the New Zealand Diploma in Business (NZDipBus) as a course of full time study completed in 18 months or less.
The New Zealand Diploma in Business (NZDipBus) is a nationally recognized qualification that allows students to gain a broad range of general business skills and knowledge to focus on career related options, or pursue further study and professional development. The Diploma is awarded when 12 papers have been passed including six compulsory core papers. The history of this programme can be dated back to the mid 1980s. the
A graduate from AWI with the NZDipBus will:
§ In a range of diverse and changing organizational settings, effectively be able to:
a. add value by applying specific business skills
b. apply a range of interpersonal and communication skills
c. apply critical problem solving skills with initiative and judgment
d. recognize ethical and cultural issues inherent in decision making
e. work independently and within teams of diverse people.

§ Meet entry requirements to concurrently study at AWI Diploma in Business (Level 7) and a Murdoch University Commerce degree which can be completed within 18 months of gaining the NZDipBus.
Entry Requirements: Completion of Year 12 (Form 6) of the
Visa Opportunities: The students of NZ Diploma in Business will have up to two year of the student visa with work permit of 20h weekly. After graduating the course the students will have the opportunity to request the student job search visa which allows to working full time.
