The school welcomes International Students and offers high quality Homestay and if necessary ESOL programmes to assist them with their studies.
Pupils at Otamatea High School are very successful academically and as a whole out-perform students in other schools of similar type and decile rating. Our students' success rates are also well above those of other secondary schools both within our local area and nationally. We are very proud of how well our students achieve when they attend tertiary courses.
The school colours are blue and green and the motto is 'Loyalty and Truth'. Our aim is to instil in each student the goal 'to be the best that I can be'.
